Germitec (Bordeaux, France) raised €36M to expand commercialization throughout Europe and into the U.S. market with the support of top investors Financière Arbevel, Kurma Partners, Sham Innovation Santé, and Turenne Capital. We are developing and commercializing a pipeline of UV technologies for medical equipment sterilization with forecasts to more than triple our current revenue. Germitec is hiring its Country Manager, France to lead one of our fastest growing markets.

We have partnered with Sébastien Lemoine, Chief Business Officer, to hire our Country Manager, France. This position will collaborate with executive management to develop and execute commercial strategy, lead four (4) Territory Managers, and work closely with cross-functional teams within the organization. Our Country Manager, France will be responsible for all oversight of commercial activities within the country and have the opportunity to grow into a multi-country region upon success of establishing the French market.  


Account Planning:

  • Creating a territory sales plan detailing specific accounts and actions that can be taken to generate the required sales targets and achieve the quarterly and yearly plans.
  • Generating sales leads through building on existing relationships as well as cold calling
  • Preparing and presenting monthly sales reports, updating CRM with sales pipeline and general activity across the territory
  • Gathering market, competitor and customer information to define market opportunity and the customer needs

Sales Generation:

  • Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
  • Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations
  • Travel to assigned locations and customers to introduce/maintain product supply
  • Host conference calls or virtual face to face meetings with customers
  • Arrange meetings and visit customers to convince them to purchase a product or subscribe to a service
  • Provide clients with an elaborate description of product features and qualities highlighting the benefits of available features
  • Arrange and facilitate trials of the products within the customers premises
  • Conduct price negotiations with clients on behalf of the company to reach a profitable agreement
  • Provide customers with relevant product literature such as product reviews and statistics
  • Develop and implement strategies for achieving and exceeding set sales targets
  • Organize and assist marketing in developing sales campaigns to promote and create publicity for new products/services
  • Oversee the processing of client orders to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Ensure adherence to general business and company policies when conducting sales of products
  • Attend educational programs and sales events to update existing job knowledge and expand personal network.

Account Management:

  • Acting as a point of contact between customers and company, managing and supporting customers with any queries and help they require
  • Develop existing accounts to open up new sales avenues where opportunities are not so apparent
  • Management of product lifecycle and upselling new devices to existing accounts where the product lifecycle has come to an end
  • Sell in any new products and services to existing accounts as they become available within the market
  • Develop relationships with customers and develop case studies where there are strong success stories being developed
  • Maintain contact with clients to obtain customer feedback and discuss future business prospects

Team management

  • Main point of contact of Territory Sales Managers for any matter related to: HR, RA, QA, Finance, … The Team leader will liaise with CBO and support functions at Germitec SA to cover any of the above-mentioned related matters
  • Ensures France Territory Sales Managers fill-in appropriately the CRM
  • Provides a weekly status of pipeline and consolidated sales forecast for the France
  • Provides quarterly and annual sales forecasts on request from CBO

Ideally degree level education in a life science or equivalent however this is not mandatory

  • Experience with CRM tool
  • Experience in conceptual selling
  • Experience in building and managing sales pipeline strategy
  • Experience in a sales role in the Healthcare environment, ideally within the ultrasound or infection control markets
  • French, verbal and written
  • Full clean driving license
